The Oudaan police station in Antwerp is open every day. The station is freely accessible, but it's best to make an appointment for better service. The advantages of making an appointment are many: you can choose a time that suits you, you know in advance what you need to bring to the station, the staff can prepare your file, and you don't have to wait at the counter, which ensures greater confidentiality and discretion. The Oudaan police station is located in the heart of the city, next to the Cathedral and the Peasants' Tower, and occupies a central position in the Antwerp landscape. The building, designed by architect Renaat Braem, dates from 1958 and is a listed building. In 2023, all Antwerp's police services will move to a new building in Berchem. A new regional police station for the western region will be built in the Lange Gasthuisstraat.
