Design center near the central station, formerly a place of prostitution, with exhibition hall, store, café, library
Until 1999, the area was known as a hotbed of prostitution, with many dilapidated buildings and the notorious prostitute window displays common to all redlight districts in Belgium and the Netherlands. To gentrify the area, it was decided, among other things, to build this Design Center on the site of eight former slums. It includes a showroom, store, café, library, offices, co-working space and meeting rooms. It is very close to Antwerp Central Station.
