MORGENSTER HOUSE
Art nouveau style house built in 1904 by the architect Bascourt, hiding various details such as its yellow brick bands
This remarkable house was built in 1904 by the architect Bascourt. It is relatively moderate compared to its neighbours. In fact, it is an Art Nouveau style building, just like the Huize Zonnebloem house at n° 50. It hides many details such as the horseshoe window opening on the1st floor, with a ceramic panel, which resembles those of the Lotus and Papyrus houses built by the same architect. It is built on two floors, in white brick, but has yellow brick bands and a blue stone base.
