COGELS-OSYLEI STREET
One of the most beautiful streets in Belgium with the beautiful houses, the facades of the traffic circle and white castles with baroque plasterwork
They say that Cogels-Osylei Street is the most beautiful street in the country. It must be said that the houses bordering it up to the roundabout of the same name are impressive. Rivaling architectural details in eclectic, neo-classical, neo-Renaissance or Art Nouveau styles, it is worth a stroll. The monumental facades of the roundabout are likened to white castles with baroque plasterwork. They are in fact twelve houses built between 1897 and 1899 by Dieltiens. Although they look identical, they are all different.
