A church located in Montbard, which has preserved its architectural heritage, housing several paintings listed as Monuments Historiques
Located within the castle's first walls, the church of Sainte-Urse still bears architectural traces dating back to the 11thcentury . It only became a parish church in the 13thcentury . Several paintings are listed as Monuments Historiques: An Adoration of the Shepherds by the painter Ménassier (1599), a Presentation of the Virgin in the Temple by the Charton brothers (1642). In the adjoining chapel, the Buffon family vault preserves the remains of the famous naturalist and his relatives.
