MONTFORT CASTLE
Overlooking the valley, this former fortified castle seems to be a ruin as seen from below. Yet it is well worth that you approach to discover it. Mons Forti is the association that has four missions for the benefit of the castle for many years: to protect, consolidate, restore and animate it. In addition to an amazing place, guided tours show us the legends of the castle: the story goes that at the death of his father in 1584, the Princess Amélie threw herself from the top of the tower that now bears her name to escape a despotic husband.
