ST JEAN-ST NICOLAS CHURCH
A neo-Gothic church with a new organ was inaugurated in 1972, along with an art center in the convent.
A convent of Franciscan monks stood here in the 13th century, but the neo-Gothic edifice was built in the 16th century with funds granted by Margaret of Austria. After the monks left in the 19th century, it was used as a hospital. Restored in the 1960s, the church regained its original function. New organs were inaugurated in 1972. Worship was dedicated to Saints John and Nicholas. The Nivelles Art Center is housed in the convent.
