WEEK-END HISTORIQUE 1815
A life-size re-enactment to commemorate the Battle of Waterloo, every year in June, with actors and entertainment.
Every summer, the Domaine de la Bataille de Waterloo 1815 and Napoleon's Last HQ commemorate the famous battle that sealed Napoleon's defeat at the hands of the Allies. Through troop bivouacs and a historic village, discover camp life, soldiers and staff, as well as civilians and craftsmen of the period. Visits, demonstrations and workshops punctuate the weekend, animated by hundreds of re-enactors in costumes and uniforms. The highlight of the show: the confrontation between the two armies! A spectacular return to the past.
