The best freshwater fisherman of Alsace and a marbled pikeperch and salmon in shellfish jelly gold medal!

This delightful restaurant boasts large bay windows offering panoramic views from most tables over the River Ill, which also borders the terrace. At La Truite, you'll enjoy fish cooked to perfection. Chef Christophe concocts an outstanding fish matelote, which won a gold medal at the Concours de la meilleure matelote d'Alsace. Minute-caught trout from the fishpond or fried carp fillets with semolina are just as tasty. As for desserts, the quetsche tart and the famous kougelhopf glazed with Alsatian kirsch are a must!

Une carpe frite excellente, des frites maison avec un vrai goût de pommes de terre, une mayonnaise maison à tomber et une crème brûlée parfaite !

Bon accueil - parking privé - Menus à différents prix et avec différentes options. Foie gras très bon, Poisson de rivière en matelote au vin blanc, Kugelhoff glacé. Belle terrasse en bord de rivière impossible à cause de la pluite.

Bonne cuisine généreuse.... les clients suivis par la patronne au service sont plus particulièrement choyés, elle n'hésite pas si besoin est, de relancer la cuisine pour des compléments . Les vins d'Alsace restent malheureusement un peu onéreux. Attention en terrasse en saison estivale, les moustiques sont souvent agaçants (proximité de l'eau) cependant tout est fait au maximum pour les chasser/éliminer !
