SOET MILL
Mill whose existence is very old, built in wood, one of the last of the type with pivot in Comines
The mill owes its name to the family of millers who operated it. That's about all we know about the origin of the building, which is very old. It is one of the last of this type of (pivot) design. Built entirely out of wood, it was listed in 1978, renovated in 1987 and... burned (voluntarily) in 1997. A mill, built according to the exact plans of its ancestor, has taken its place again. Cereal milling demonstrations are held there every summer. On the spot, you can taste a beer with the label of the mill: the Baptiste.
