Since the 16th century, Flobecq has been renowned for its cultivation of simples (the ancient term for medicinal plants). The Maison des Plantes médicinales (House of Medicinal Plants) pays tribute to this flourishing past with a museum retracing the history of therapeutic herbs. The Maison is temporarily closed, but the garden remains accessible. Here you can observe the medicinal plants being cultivated.
