ECOLE BILINGUE ABCM JEAN PETIT
The Association for Bilingualism in Classroom from Kindergarten (ABCM) aims to promote bilingual education from the earliest age, according to the principle of linguistic immersion with a balanced distribution (12 hours in German in dialectal and standard form, 12 hours in French with teachers working in their mother tongue); since 1991, the Jean Petit School offers this teaching from kindergarten to CM 2 and promotes bilingual regional education. In kindergarten, workshops inspired by Montessori pedagogy have been established since 2002. Parents are very involved in the operation and life of this educational school (participation in the organisation of festivals and other events). The leisure reception at D offers care in the morning, noon and evening for children enrolled in school. In addition, extracurricular reception is scheduled for Wednesday until 14 p. m. outside school holidays. An open day is held in January for families wishing to discover the school and its pedagogy.
