CENTRE DAILY-BUL & CO
Daily-Bul Center of La Louvière organizing publications as well as regular and quality temporary exhibitions
Pol Bury and André Balthazar belonged to the Belgian Surrealists and the CoBrA movement. They rubbed shoulders with artists such as Roland Topor, Christian Dotremont and Pierre Alechinsky. So, in 1957, they drew inspiration from them and founded the "Daily-Bul" thought, magazine and publishing house in La Louvière, a medium for offbeat counter-power. Today, the Daily-Bul is archived in a center dedicated to it by the city. In addition to publications, regular temporary exhibitions of high quality are programmed, in the spirit of the magazine's creators.
