CLIFF PATH
The Cabottes trail offers an easy stroll through the vineyards and woods of Pernand-Vergelesses.
It's a superb, easy walk through vineyards and woods! Cabottes are dry-stone huts built in the 19th century by winegrowers to shelter them from the rain and store their tools. Along the way, you'll discover splendid views of Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, the Frétille oratory, the Chenôve farm, which belonged to the Cistercians, and Jacques Copeau's house. You'll pass an old stone cross, a spring, a pond, an ancient washhouse and some fifteen cabottes.
