Museum with collections from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome in Morlanwelz
The Musée Royal de Mariemont is set in a beautiful 45-hectare park that can also be visited. Its 1970s architecture is all glass and concrete. It features collections from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, as well as Chinese art, European decorative arts and regional archaeology. There's also a collection of Tournai porcelain. The museum's library contains many valuable works. Temporary exhibitions are organized throughout the year.
