MARIGOLD PARK
Park with a beautiful collection of Egyptian, Roman, Greek and Asian antiquities in Morlanwelz
The 45-hectare Parc de Mariemont is worth the trip to La Louvière for its sheer magnificence. A Sunday stroll for many families, it was redesigned in the English style at the beginning of the 20th century around remarkable trees and rare species. It is also classified as a nature reserve and bird sanctuary. The small but very interesting museum features a fine collection of Egyptian, Roman, Greek and Asian antiquities, as well as regional archaeology. Tournai porcelain is also on display.
