A semi-subterranean structure topped by a glass pyramid, the Center's 400 m² of state-of-the-art scenography lets you discover the international scope of the 1914-18 conflict and its impact on the Comines-Warneton border zone occupied by British and German troops. Specific stations look at the lives of civilians and soldiers in this war zone, as well as the intervention of Australian and New Zealand troops.

nous sommes très intéressé par tout ce qui touche à la grande guerre ce qui a amené à visiter le musée 14-18 de ploegsteert. C'est une petite commune belge à la frontière française qui a connu 4 années de guerre et qui en a beaucoup souffert ainsi que les commune avoisinantes. Le musée, qui n'est pas très grand mais qui utilise essentiellement des techniques très sophistiquées, très modernes car il est récent, retrace à la perfection l'évolution du conflit sur le terrain, la vie des soldats et des civils. Il y a beaucoup de documents surtout des photos de l'époque. Instructif et touchant!
