VILLAGE WALK
Poiseul-lès-Saulx is a village in the north of the Côte d'Or, established on a vast plateau and surrounded by numerous forests, located 30 km from Dijon and 15 km from Is-sur-Tille. It depended on the castle of Saulx-le-Duc, which is 4 km away. Formerly specialized in the work of hemp, Poiseul has a remarkable religious and artisan heritage, and retains carefully different objects essential to the stages of the work of hemp, a cordier device and a keyring in hemp (and XIXesiècles). Start the walk by the neo-Gothic Church, which does not pay a mine from the outside, but the 14 inner capitals each have a different decor. One, which is designed for the disabled, leads to the former hemp factory, another, the "source circuit", makes a loop of 12 to 15 km. A former bread oven has been restored and is now a haven for hikers who can eat and even sleep there. Amateurs of old stones, nature and curious spirits, you will be happy to go through it!
