TRAM MUSEUM
Unusual museum, witness to a mode of transport developed in the region in the 20th century in Thuin
Thuin boasts an unusual museum that bears witness to a mode of transport developed in the region in the 20th century. A steam locomotive and the oldest streetcar built entirely in Belgium are preserved here, among some thirty other old models. Some of them run in summer on the restored Thuin-Lobbes or Thuin-Biesme-sous-Thuin line, departing from the former Thuin-Ouest station. A must-do, especially the crossing of the woods along the Biesmelle river. The tramway is extended by cycle paths, so you can take your bike with you.
