ART MUSEUM
Museum designed by the Belgian architect Victor Horta to discover paintings by Rubens, Monet, Van Gogh, or Van der Weyden in Tournai
Housed in a superb Art Nouveau building designed by Belgian architect Victor Horta, the museum features sculptures and paintings by Rubens, Monet, Van Gogh and Van der Weyden, also known as Roger de la Pasture and born in Tournai in 1399. Whether Impressionist, Baroque or Flemish Primitives, you can follow the chronological evolution of Belgian painting. The museum presents the only two Manet paintings exhibited in Belgium: Argenteuil and Chez le Père Lathuille. We regret the lack of information beneath the paintings.
