When Katja Bantz took over her parents' restaurant with her husband Daniel Baratto, they breathed new life into this establishment in the lower town of Eupen. In a warm, wood-panelled setting, Daniel cooks traditional gourmet dishes such as veal kidneys with mustard or Irish beef steak... in short, hearty dishes that keep you going in an area known for its harsher winter climate than elsewhere in Belgium. A restaurant that has bounced back from the floods of July 2021, making it well worth a visit.
