At the foot of Thierenbach's magnificent basilica, after the spiritual food, let's stop off at La Ferme des Moines, an Alsatian restaurant that's anything but conventional! Children will marvel at the decor. Imagine 16 automaton monks in a period setting, albeit slightly magnified. The place is imposing in its size and decoration. You can lunch or dine here with family or friends, in a simple, friendly atmosphere. The à la carte menu features many Alsatian specialties: tarts flambées, bouchées à la reine, sauerkraut... Joli cadre. Accueil moyen. Carpes frites immangeables. Une arrête à chaque bouchée. Un moment de plaisir s'est transformé en un véritable cauchemar ! Signalé au serveur très antipathique qui n'en n'avait absolument rien à faire ! Apparemment personne ne s'est jamais plaint ! Avons été très déçues et déconseillons vivement ce plat !

Restaurant très atypiques, il faut aimer la décoration chargée et les automates chaque heure. Par contre, la nourriture est de qualité et copieuse avec les volontés et les viandes cuites sur pierre. Je trouve seulement un peu cher pour des repas en semaine.

Tally original and very interesting, little organised chaotic service and nondescript food, prices exaggerated in report gourmet quality. There is better and cheaper in the 68, spend your road, except for setting.
