Saffron is a spice, which many believe to be of distant origin, produced in Burgundy at the Safranerie Templière. Called "Red Gold" and with subtle aromas, it takes 160 of its beautiful purple flowers for 1 gram. Since 2012, Jean-Christophe Baudot has been growing it and is one of the producers of the 100% Côte-d'Or brand. His products are available via the online shop, including saffron preserved in honey, infused in cane syrup, and other products such as Guérande salt with saffron or Crocus Pocus craft beer with saffron pistils.
