Jean-Christophe Baudot has been growing saffron in Recey-sur-Ource since 2012, and is one of the producers of the 100% Côte-d'Or brand. Labelled Nature & Progrès and Esprit parc national - forêts, he produces high-quality grey shallots, purple garlic and saffron. His products are sold direct via an online boutique, but can also be found at local farmers' markets. His particularly fragrant saffron will enhance your hot or cold dishes with just a pinch of this "red gold".
