Footbridge that allows a new pedestrian way over the Meuse, between the Guillemins district and the Boverie park

The very architectural and recent La Belle Liégeoise footbridge has created a new pedestrian walkway over the Meuse, between the Guillemins district and the Boverie park. Much awaited by the people of Liège for the closeness it allows with the station, it is 294 metres long and 23 metres high. It owes its name to the nickname given to Anne-Josèphe Théroigne de Méricourt, a feminist politician who marked the French Revolution.

Un lien entre les deux rives de la Meuse et de Liège
Ne manquez pas une balade des deux côtés de la Meuse à pied ou à vélo via La Belle Liégeoise. Bel exemple de réalisation d'un des meilleurs bureaux d'architectes belges. L'atmosphère du quartier a changé complètement depuis l'installation de cette passerelle. Le Parc de la Boverie et son musée sont très facilement accessibles depuis la gare. Ce fut aussi un lieu de rassemblement et de fêtes pendant le confinement.

Nouvelle passerelle piétonne très agréable qui permet de se rendre directement dans le parc de la boverie depuis la gare des guillemins juste en face.

Très pratique pour aller rapidement de la gare des Guillemins au parc de la Boverie. On y retrouve beaucoup de gens lors de l'été, et très souvent des musiciens y jouent. Cependant, elle bouge légérement quand on passe dessus, ceux qui ont le mal de mer devraient s'abstenir
