BOTANICAL GARDEN
Botanical garden in Liege where you can relax, a beautiful park with trees of various species, greenhouses, a pond with water jets
It's the perfect place to lie in the sun for a few hours, read a book. The Botanical Garden is also a nice park in the heart of the city, where students gather. It was King William I of the Netherlands who decided to create it in 1816. It was transferred to its present location in 1840. Since then, it has continued to enrich and maintain its collections. There are more than 400 trees of more than 170 different species on 3 hectares. The garden is magnificent with its greenhouses, unique in Wallonia, and its pond with water jets.
