SEVEN O'CLOCK PARK
A park dating from the 18th century, popular with walkers in search of greenery and calm, and home to monuments including the Armistice monument
The Parc de Sept Heures was created in the mid-18th century to satisfy the needs of Spa spa-goers and vacationers in search of greenery and peace and quiet. It has been a listed site since 1977, and is a popular place for visitors and walkers alike. In fact, it's a must-see, right in the middle of the spa town, with its lovely monuments. These include the Armistice monument, the monument to the composer Meyerbeer, who came to Spa for inspiration between 1829 and 1860, and the monument to Jean d'Ardenne, a Spa-born writer and propagandist for the country.
