MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND FOLKLORE
Museum exhibiting bourgeois furniture from Liège of yesteryear, three pianos, two of which are Empire style from the 19th century, and a collection of lace
A splendid 18th century patrician house houses this museum. You can discover the wealth of Liège's bourgeois furniture of yesteryear, such as precious ebony "cabinets", inlaid with ivory, tortoiseshell, alabaster and mother-of-pearl. Other highlights: three pianos, two of which are Empire style from the early 19th century. Bequeathed by families from Verviers: some excellent carved Liège furniture. To close the show, a superb collection of laces.
