Located in the heart of the vineyards at the bottom of the village of Katzenthal, this cosy inn has a private car park accessible directly from the D415 from Colmar or Ammerschwihr. With a very pleasant terrace in summer, the establishment managed by Jean-Claude Lorang offers you mainly regional specialities: duck foie gras and homemade presskopf, chef's snails, winegrower's salad, munster cordon bleu, ham on sauerkraut, riesling chicken, frozen kougelhopf.... Suggestions according to the seasons complete the menu; at the beginning of spring, for example, you will have the pleasure of tasting the first asparagus! Also note that the restaurant has a trout pool, a source of fish dishes of incomparable freshness! En ce qui concerne ma salade, j'ai trouvé que l'oeuf n'était pas assez cuit et qu'il fallait pas mal couper soi même les ingrédients (melon, avocat) et qu'il y avait trop de salade verte mais c'est déjà très sympa d'avoir trouvé un arrangement pour obtenir un plat sans viande.
Je vous conseille d'appeler avant d'y aller, resto visiblement très prisé !
