REINHARDSTEIN CASTLE
14th century castle overlooking the Warche gorges where you can admire furniture, collections of armor, halberds and tapestries
Overlooking the Warche gorges on a rocky spur, the imposing castle is isolated between waterfalls. This fortress built in the 14th century by the Lords of Waimes to watch over Stavelot Abbey was completely destroyed during the French Revolution. Entirely rebuilt around 1970 according to the original architecture of the Germanic castles, the Burgs, it houses beautiful furniture, collections of armour, halberds and tapestries.
