BOCHOLTER BROUWERIJMUSEUM
To collect brewery equipment from different eras and to take up the challenge to present these rooms to the general public require above all space. With a floor area of 40 ares, the Bocholt brewery museum is the biggest in Europe, and traces the history of the brewing industry from 1758 to the modern era. It was inaugurated in 1979 by Jean Martens, a brewery of the same name. If this brasserie is hardly known in Belgium despite an important production essentially destined abroad, as for the museum, it is relative to its reference value. Traditional malthouse to the brewing room, passing original period fermenting vats and more recent fermentation tanks, it is on the whole a hundred pieces from Germany, Great Britain and Belgium which are presented.
