Since opening, Hasselt residents have been flocking to Merloos for breakfast, lunch or brunch. It's true that there's something for everyone on the menu: fluffy pancakes for gourmets, chicken pittas with salsa and yoghurt sauce for those with a taste for the exotic, falafels for vegans... If you can't get a seat on the terrace, you'll prefer the more intimate upstairs room with its pretty parquet floor, rather than the one downstairs where you're stuck together.
