H2O has specialized in the creation and management of river ports, and the repair, maintenance, fitting out, servicing and sale of new and used boats since 1987. H2O is also the harbor master of Saint-Jean-de-Losne, France's second largest river port, with nearly 500 boats at anchor and 130 in dry dock. H2O alone is home to 500 boats. Nestled in the heart of the small town of Saint-Jean-de-Losne, it offers boaters fully-equipped pontoons, electrical outlets, water points, Wi-Fi access and a webcam for remote monitoring of boats. Since 2015, new facilities have enabled 50 to 80 boats to be stored in a closed building, and nearly 200 boats to be stored in the slipway, providing protection and security for dry docking. H2O has over 100 new and used boats on permanent sale (the largest site in France), including river and sea launches, Dutch launches (including those from the Linssen yard), and converted barges. The hardware store, enlarged in 2015, is one of the best-stocked on the waterways, offering customers an XXL choice of equipment adapted to boat outfitting and maintenance. H2O, which employs 40 people, is also based at the Port Royal in Auxonne, a 150-ring harbor which will soon have a capacity of 300 berths.
