This excellent company has been named a Living Heritage Company.
History. Fernand Scherrer founded the company in 1967. The Barrisol brand appeared in 1975 and the first patent was registered. The following year, the company expanded its range (removable and reassemblable fireproof ceiling, first white perforated fabric, Barrisol aluminium separator, matt fabrics, etc.) and made many technical advances.
The products. A Barrisol stretch ceiling is a non-flammable PVC fabric (the best fire rating B-s1, d0, B-s2, d0, d0, B-s3, d0) and certified A+ for indoor air quality. All types of realizations are possible, even the most ambitious (3D Shape, Light, Acoustics). The stretch ceiling can be used in all types of places. Whether it is public spaces such as museums, shops, swimming pools, places of worship, stands,... or private spaces, Barrisol canvases can be adapted to all desires and needs. In order to further personalize the design, the printed stretched ceilings and walls allow to reproduce on Barrisol ceilings and Artolis walls all types of patterns, photos or decorations. Thousands of images and effects are at your disposal to integrate into your interiors and bring them the strength of a printed decor. Among them, we find the Printed Concrete Effect which acts as a remarkable trompe-l'oeil. Barrisol also provides its customers with a large number of works of art, the result of a partnership between various museums: the Mulhouse Museum of Printing on Fabrics, the Rixheim Museum of Wallpaper, and the Réunion des Musées nationaux, which transform your interior into a real art gallery.
Employment. The family company, leader in this niche market, has 130 employees and a turnover of 25 million euros, 70% of which is exported.
