The Sensorium is a museum located in the Rüttihubelbad cultural center in Walkringen, Canton Bern, Switzerland. The museum is dedicated to the senses and offers a unique interactive experience. It was conceived by Hugo Kükelhaus, a German educator, philosopher and artist. Inspired by the German pavilion at the 1967 World's Fair in Montreal, the Sensorium features some 100 interactive stations exploring the senses of touch, sight, hearing and smell. Visitors can discover musical instruments, sound-emitting stones, Newtonian pendulums, rotating colored discs, prisms, kaleidoscopes, mirror games, balance games and much more. The museum also offers a sensory trail where visitors can walk barefoot on different materials.
