This superb museum, one of the most important in the region, is the main attraction of Tongeren. It houses a collection of objects from civilizations from prehistoric times to the early Middle Ages. The collections (2,200 authentic objects!) are presented in an interactive way, with numerous multimedia resources, educational drawings, reconstructions of scenes... For example, 3D presentations can be used to discover the interior of a Roman house. Do not miss the model of the city of Tongeren as it existed in 150 AD.
