RETRAITE A L'ABBAYE DE CITEAUX
Hotel offering 40 comfortable and quiet rooms for a stay of two to seven days.
Would you like to have a spiritual retreat? The Abbay de Cîteaux will meet your expectations. First of all, because the site is an architectural jewel with a magnificent park. Indeed, founded in the 11th century by Saint Robert de Molestes, the abbey's style is characterised by pure lines and the sobriety of its ornaments (Cistercian art). Then, the tranquility that reigns there is conducive to meditation and inner peace. You can stay from two to seven days and a maximum of twice a year. 40 rooms are available, comfortable and of course quiet. You have access to a small library and an oratory specific to the hotel business. Please note that it's possible to meet a brother during your stay and that retreats are not preached. Guests share at least two services per day out of the seven as well as meals. They participate in some community living tasks such as setting the table and washing the dishes. In order to respect the tranquility of the place, travellers and pilgrims seeking a stopover place cannot be welcomed.
