Saint-Monon (ambrée, brune, au miel; Mix Hop)
Pierre Jacob, the youngest son of a family farm, has definitely opted for a wooden stirring stick in 1996. But the other activities related to the farming are not forgotten. They are even under high protection since the brewery took the name of Saint-Monon in 2000. This Scottish monk hermit from the 7th century, who is indeed known to take care of the livestock and the harvests of local farmers.
The beers range, whose label are illustrated by Guy Servais, today has an amber version, brown and honey. As many of his colleagues, the brewer has recently filled his range with a hopped touch. The Mix Hop, a 6.5% alc. vol. amber beer brewed with five different types of hop, was in this way launched in November 2010. The brewery also produces some made to order beers.
