CYCLE MUSEUM
Museum presenting a private collection tracing the fabulous history of the bicycle, from the draisienne to Arlon
Some one hundred pieces from a private collection trace the fabulous history of the bicycle, from the draisienne - Baron Drais' "Machine à courir" (1818) - to the diving bicycle of the Englishman Chris Boardman (1996). Enough to discover a past rich in inventions. There is also a collection of plaques, lanterns, posters, board games, porcelain, mannequins in period costumes. The projection of a film enlightens the imagination on the story of the "little queen". The museum is located in Weyler, south of Arlon on the Arlon-Aubange road.
