The museum's permanent collection is devoted to the Gallo-Roman period, with an impressive lapidary gallery. Out of 400 sculptures from funerary monuments and local civil buildings, only some of the voluminous multi-sided fragments are on display. Of these, four pieces have been classified as "treasures" for their exceptional appearance. Equally remarkable are the sections devoted to pottery and objects of all kinds from the Gallo-Roman period, and the objects from the tombs of Merovingian kings excavated here.
