COLLEGIATE CHURCH
Renaissance-style collegiate church of Saint-Begge, housing a griffin lectern, manuscripts, furniture, sculptures, etc
Built in the 18th century, it was designed by Laurent-Benoît Dewez, the first architect of the Brussels court. The Treasury, divided into twelve different rooms, houses what was saved from the noble Chapter, including prints, insignia, a griffin lectern, manuscripts, furniture, sculptures, textiles and goldsmith's and silversmith's pieces, including the Renaissance shrine of Saint Begge. There's also a faithful 3D reconstruction of the seven churches of the Merovingian monastery that founded the town of Andenne.
