SAMSON VALLEY
The Samson with a small, very fast river of several kilometers, with wooded and very steep slopes
The Samson is a small, fast-flowing river 16 km long. The charm of its valley lies in its steep, wooded slopes, dotted with caves. A delight for walkers, provided you're prepared to climb! On your walk, you'll pass through a number of villages with beautiful stone houses, starting at the entrance to the valley with the pretty village of Thon, where time seems to have stood still. Walking itineraries are available for download or from the Andenne tourist office, including the Trou Perdu, a must-see.

Attention, la partie entre l'abbaye de Faulx et Gesves est atrocement boueuse dès qu'il pleut. On y trouve quelques oeuvres de Land Art.
