PINSA ROMANA
Considered to be the ancestor of pizza, Roman pinsa already existed in ancient times. A kind of flatbread, its name would simply mean "stretched" or "crushed". The menu of this fairly new address on the heights of the city offers many other possibilities. Its antipasti are gargantuan, whether they're from land or sea. The escalopes are generously sized and the pasta is sauced to perfection. As for the crispy and well-stuffed pinsas, they offer a real alternative to pizzas. Sicilian cannoli to end on a sweet note.
