François de Nicolay, owner of the Domaine Chandon de Briailles in Savigny les Beaune, has developed a range of wines from the grape trade in order to expand a very high-end catalog to generic appellations. There are about ten certified organic whites and reds that are offered, radiating from Beaujolais to Chablis through the Côte de Nuits. The house is located in a 17th century building, its gardens are freely accessible and by appointment, customers are welcomed in the "cellar" store of an old oratory.
