RESTAURANT LA CITADELLE
At the foot of the cable car leading up to the fortifications, a restaurant with a chef who had a fine gastronomic career before taking over this local institution. It's a meeting place for Dinant locals and walkers alike, and the menu rotates between classic dishes and others from the Haute Meuse region. Petits-gris de Warnant, trout from the Leffe stream, regional cured meats, locally-raised meat, or the sweetbreads with morel mushrooms that are the pride of the house. Highly recommended (and not just for its ideal location).
