In Dinant, the famous "Course de baignoires du 15 août" is a race of decorated bathtubs, of one kilometer, on the Meuse.

In Dinant, a famous bathtub race takes place every year on August 15. Some 25,000 people attend this kilometer-long competition on the Meuse River. All participants have to do is decorate their cars, and some of them don't hesitate to be very original... A zany folk-sports festival where Belgian humor is the order of the day. Teams compete in imagination to equip their tubs and win the race, even if they can only be led to victory by human strength. It's a kind of Belgian aquatic "driving mania" that you just can't miss!
