CENTRE ASTRON. MOSAN
The observatory of the Cercle Astronomique Mosan offers periodic appointments in the form of lectures, as well as public evenings according to the celestial events of the moment. Among the instruments at its disposal for the observations, let us mention a very beautiful telescope of 150 mm diameter built in 1928 for Léon de la Vallée Poussin, who was none other than the brother of Charles-Jean de la Vallée Poussin, a mathematician, who had as a pupil the ecclesiastic and scientist Georges Lemaître, father of the Big Bang theory.
