Coming from Ireland, the monk Feuillen wished to be buried in Fosses. This was done in 655, after his assassination. The saint is truly venerated, and is the object of a popular cult. ReGare is also a center for the interpretation of local heritage, featuring the famous Chinels, emblematic characters of the Fosses carnival. Or the limotche, a legendary character dressed in cowhide. ReGare also serves as a tourist information point to find out all about the thousand-year-old city and its villages.
