Every other year on the first weekend of July, the Medieval Festival takes place at the Citadel. Several hundred artists, craftsmen and re-enactment enthusiasts from Belgium, neighbouring countries and further afield gather there. Equestrian shows, reconstructed medieval villages, craft or period cooking stands, storytelling, juggling, music, acrobatics, the activities are multiple and diversified to delight the greatest number. The reenactments are elaborated in collaboration with the Unicorn Company. Open from 11am to 8pm.
