During the Ascension weekend, the streets of Namur come alive with the sounds of theatrical performances and the fairground arts festival. Circus events, theater and storytelling, music and cabaret fill the Walloon capital with life. During this arts festival, 300 performances surprise, dazzle, enchant and question passers-by. Aimed at young and old alike, Namur en Mai evolves a fairy-tale universe, punctuated by acrobatic ballets. Since 1996, the festival has attracted at least 100,000 people every year.

Si vous aimez les arts de rue, cet évènement va vous plaire! Les rues de namur se transforment en salle de spectacle (gratuite en grande partie), il y en a vraiment pour tout les goûts. Par contre il faut organiser sa visite avant de venir sur place via le site internet si vous voulez être certain de voir des artistes qui vous plaisent tellement l'offre est vaste.

Un peu décevant concernant les spectacles de rue mais super bonne ambiance. Brouillon, manque d'informations sur les spectacles, de rue encore une fois. Dommage quand on vient spécialement une animation avec un enfant. Les manèges sont chers.
Surtout faites un tour en roue, la vue sur Namur et la Citadelle est ma-gni-fique !!!
