On the3rd weekend of September, Namur fills up with thousands of visitors from all over Wallonia. There's plenty going on: Monday morning mass in the Walloon language; fairground attractions; traditional stilt-walking; tasting of Walloon gastronomic products such as avisance (pork sausage in puff pastry or shortcrust pastry), not forgetting the famous pékèt! The city comes alive with parades, parades, popular games, shows and concerts, all of which ensure international recognition for the event.

Malheureusement devenues avec le temps une immense beuverie, les fêtes de Wallonie restent un inconditionnel de septembre pour les Wallons. Chaque ville organise les siennes lors d'un WE de septembre.

Le grand rendez-vous festif de l’année pour tous les namurois. Excellente ambiance avec divers concerts pendant tout le week-end. Le péket est la boisson locale à savourer à cette occasion.

Fêtes très importantes dans la vie des namurois, les rues sont prises d'assaut par des milliers de personnes. On y trouve une multitude de stands de nourriture et de boissons (dont les célèbres pekets) . Les jours les plus agréables pour les namurois sont les jeudi et lundi car il y a moins de monde.
