On the3rd weekend of September, Namur fills up with thousands of visitors from all over Wallonia. There's plenty going on: Monday morning mass in the Walloon language; fairground attractions; traditional stilt-walking; tasting of Walloon gastronomic products such as avisance (pork sausage in puff pastry or shortcrust pastry), not forgetting the famous pékèt! The city comes alive with parades, parades, popular games, shows and concerts, all of which ensure international recognition for the event.
